形态描述
体长，稍侧扁。头短钝，吻宽圆。口下位，横裂或略呈弧形。下颌显著外露，前缘具锐利角质。唇厚，发达，上、下唇在口角相连，下唇肉质，具乳突，后缘游离，唇后沟连续。须2对，细短，长度显著小于眼径。体被细鳞，胸腹部裸露；侧线上鳞20左右；具臀鳞。背鳍刺弱，具不发达的锯齿，起点在腹鳍之前。
生物学
Mouth transverse, lower lip fleshy and papillose, abdo-men naked, about 20 series of scales above the lateral line. The species is found in the lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River and the Irrawaddy River.
